Entertaiment is a word that relates to a variety of forms and genres, and it’s also one of the many words that have been influenced by the new digital media. Digital technologies have allowed consumers to make the most of entertainment, particularly music. They can now load their iPods with the latest tunes and swap music with friends through online sites such as eBay, Craigslist and music exchanges.

Oliver and Barstsch (2010) define entertainment as activity that is understood objectively, involves communication between text and audience from external stimuli, off ers pleasure, requires an audience and occurs in a passive form.
